This mail is to let you know that:

On behalf of the International Union of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (IUBMB), I am pleased to announce that applications are now open for the IUBMB Education Fellowships. These fellowships (formerly Tang Education Fellowships) are designed to support the development of both educators and educational programs in biochemistry and molecular biology.

The fellowships aim to:

• Increase expertise in biochemistry and molecular biology education
• Promote innovation in teaching approaches
• Improve student learning experiences and engagement
• Build evidence to guide future educational practices
• Support education in developing countries
• Broadly foster engaged educators worldwide

Fellowships may be awarded to:

• Universities/departments wishing to host experienced educators for specific educational outcomes
• Educators seeking to visit institutions to develop skills and methodologies in education and pedagogy

Each fellowship can support travel of up to two months, with funding available for travel, accommodation, and living expenses to a maximum of US $4,000. Please note that applications cannot be used to attend courses, symposia, or congresses.

🔹 Application deadline: December 15, 2025 (for travel between January–December 2026)

🔹 Eligibility: Applicants must be residents of countries that are members of IUBMB and members of an IUBMB Adhering or Associate Adhering Body.
