El tema de trabajo es investigaciones sobre polimorfismos naturales en la biología estructural de unas proteínas de plantas (SROs) y cómo estos influencian el rol de esas proteínas en estrés abiótico.

Together with my project partner Milton T. Stubbs we are looking for two PhD candidates within the framework of the Collaborative Research Centre 'SNP2PROT - Plant Proteoform Diversity' https://snp2prot.uni-halle.de/.
The plant-focused PhD student in my group will investigate the influence of natural variation in SRO-type transcriptional co-regulators on plant abiotic stress tolerance. The 'protein' PhD student in Milton's group will address the role of the same natural polymorphisms on SRO protein structure and interaction interfaces. In addition, our department at the IPB has a vacant position for a technical assistant with an application deadline of July 15th.
